Performance and Scalability for VeloCloud

Objective is to benchmark the performance and scalability numbers for Velocloud Topology in VSA 10.1.2.

• Number of Velocloud Orchestrator: 1 VCO (6500 VEdges).
• Number Of Tenants: 18 Tenants (each with variable number of VEdges, totalling to 6500).
• No Non-VC Site available.

Resource utilization statistics that are collected for benchmarking:

• CPU, Memory, Discovery Time, Reconfigure Time, Disk Utilization for Smarts, DCF and Kafka for 1st and 2nd discovery of 1 VCO with 3000 VEdges for OPERATOR and MSP users.
• Time taken by ESM Server and Collector to complete monitoring cycle for 1 VCO with 3000 VEdges.
• Resource utilization statistics for 1st and 2nd discovery of 1 VCO with 6500 VEdges for OPERATOR and MSP users.
• Time taken by ESM Server and Collector to complete monitoring cycle for 1 VCO with 6500 VEdges.
• End to End time taken for a VEdge, VGateway fault notification events to be generated in SAM.
• Time taken to Launch the Tenant Map, Tenant Containment View and Tenant Browse detail.
