Overview

The VMware Smart Assurance release supports M&R 7.0u8. This chapter applies to binary-only installations of 6.5u4, 6.6u1, or 6.7u1, 6.8u2, 6.8u5 upgrading to 7.0u8.

Note: Upgrading from 6.5u4 to 7.0u8 using the Centralized Management GUI is a two-step process. In this case, you need to upgrade first from 6.5u4 to 6.7u1, and then to 7.0u8. For more information, refer to Updating the Centralized Management module. However, if you are upgrading using the CLI, you can directly upgrade from 6.5u4 to 7.0u8.
