Updating components distributed in package (.pkg) files

Use this procedure to update M&R software when a component is distributed as a .pkg or .zip file containing multiple package files.

Prerequisites

• A login with administrative privileges.
• The <MnR component>.pkg file you downloaded from Online Support to a directory, such as /temp.

Procedure

1. From Centralized Management, click Packages Management.
2. On the Packages Listing page, click the Upload button.
3. Click Browse, and select the package file to be uploaded.
4. Click OK and then Continue.
   The package is uploaded to the server where you can install it.
