Following table lists the events generated by the Multicast Manager for each type of managed object class. All of the events listed in the following table are sent to the Global Manager.

| MulticastGroup | IpMRouteOctetsHigh | The IP multicast traffic rate (as measured in octets/sec.) is higher than the specified threshold for one or more SGs in this group. This is an aggregate event. |
| MulticastGroup | IpMRouteOctetsLow | The IP multicast traffic rate (as measuredin octets/sec.) is lower than the specified threshold for one or more SGs in this group. This is an aggregate event. |
| MulticastGroup | IpMRoutePacketsHigh | The IP multicast traffic rate (as measured in packets/sec.) is higher than the specified threshold for one or more SGs in this group. This is an aggregate event. |

| MulticastService | SACEntriesThesholdExceeded | The threshold for number of entries in the SA Cache table was exceeded. |
| MulticastSource | Dormant | This multicast source is not transmitting data. |
| PIMInterface | DRAddressChanged | The polled DR address is different from the discovered DR address. |
| PIMInterface | PIMInterfaceUnreachable | The PIM interface cannot be reached. |
