Multicast Manager architecture

Following figure shows the information flow between the Multicast Manager, the IP Availability Manager and the Global Manager.

The Multicast Manager registers for problem and event notification with the IP Availability Manager. When events are received, it calculates the impact on multicast services and connections and sends the resultant notifications to the Global Manager, where they are available in the Global Console.

The Global Manager imports an abstract view of the multicast topology which can then be viewed in the Global Console.
