Adding a description for a selected group

You can create a description to identify a group.

Prerequisites

• Log in to the M&R platform with your administrator username and password.
• Navigate to the Configuration Manager (Select Administration > Modules > Smarts.).
• Assign IP Managers.

Procedure

1. Click one of the following choices:
   • Polling
   • Thresholds
   • Device Access
   • Tagging
2. Select a group category from the dropdown box.
3. Select a group from the list that appears for the group category.
4. Click Description and type information about the group.
5. Click Apply to save your changes.
