/etc/resolv.conf

The Network Configuration Manager requires a valid DNS server entry in the /etc/resolv.conf file. For example:

• domain (your own domain name)

• nameserver (your own DNS server IP Address)

• search (your own domain name)

Note:

Ensure that when you use hostname command in the console, it returns the FQDN. This is essential for communication of the Network Configuration Manager application communication with other remote servers.
