Verify that ScaleIO credentials are accepted in the log file

Verify that your ScaleIO credentials are accepted by checking your log file.

Note:

You can also use the GUI to validate the ScaleIO credentials, in Configure ESM credentials window by selecting ScaleIO system and clicking Validate Selected Credentials.

Procedure

1. Open the Server Manager log file in the opt/InCharge/ESM/smarts/local/logs directory.

2. Locate the credential messages. For example, the following messages indicate the ScaleIO credentials are accepted:
