Configuring IPv6 Availability Manager connections

The SM_IP_VERSIONS environment variable allows you to define the Internet Protocol (IP) version used when SAM is running in an IPv6 network.

To configure this variable:

1. Using a text editor, edit the runcmd_env.sh file. The runcmd_env.sh file is located in the BASEDIR/smarts/local/conf/ directory.

2. Add the following line:

                  SM_IP_VERSIONS=<
                  value
                  >
               

3. Save and close the file.

4. Edit the com.smarts.ip_versions Java property. The value for this property must match the value entered for the SM_IP_VERSIONS environment variable.
