The SAM Console polls the SAM server to request batched notification updates at a default polling interval of 10 seconds. Therefore, operations that update notifications are shown with an average delay of a few seconds.
In SAM 8.0 and above, an option has been added to the SAM Console to choose between Notification polling (HyperNotification) and PropertyChange (subscription based notification updates from server) notification updates.
