To monitor queues, VMware Smart Assurance software provides a dump queues command that uses this syntax:

tdmctl -s <server_name> exec dmdebug --queues 
-output=<file_name>s

where:

  • <server_name> is the name of the Global Manager.

  • <file_name> is the name of the file where the output is written, such as queues-010105-0100.out (where 010105 is January 1, 2005, and 0100 is 1 AM). The file is written to the smarts/local/logs directory.
