VMware Tanzu Application Catalog concepts - Federal support

This section provides an overview of the onboarding and user experience for VMware Tanzu Application Catalog (Tanzu Application Catalog) for customers.

Note that Tanzu Application Catalog UI is built on top of a commercial Cloud Service Portal (CSP) for VMware. In order to support Federal customers who cannot access commercial CSP, we have extracted the UI experience into the following process below.

Onboarding

When you have purchased Tanzu Application Catalog, the Tanzu Application Catalog team will work with your account team to send you the “Application Request” form. Once this form is filled out, the account team will return it to the Tanzu Application Catalog team to complete the packaging of your new request.

Once the new request is fulfilled, your account team will share the credentials for your registry with you.

Ongoing application requests and removals

Once your first catalog has been delivered to you through the onboarding process, contact Tanzu Application Catalog support for any further changes.

Adding application(s)

To add an application from Tanzu Application Catalog to your existing catalog, contact to Tanzu Application Catalog for Federal support team through your MyVMware account. You will receive an “Application Request” form that includes all the choices to pick from. Once the Tanzu Application Catalog team has completed the request, they will notify the Tanzu Application Catalog for Federal support team and the Tanzu Application Catalog for Federal support team will notify you via the support ticket that the request is completed.

Removing application(s)

If you would like to have an application removed from your catalog, contact Tanzu Application Catalog for Federal support team through your MyVMware account. Their team will alert the Tanzu Application Catalog team to remove the requested applications.
