Access the Tanzu Mission Control console to start managing clusters.

The Tanzu Mission Control console is a browser-based user interface that allows you to use the features of Tanzu Mission Control to manage your fleet of Kubernetes clusters.

Prerequisites

This procedure assumes that you have already deployed the Tanzu Mission Control Self-Managed stack, as described in Installing Tanzu Mission Control Self-Managed in Installing and Running VMware Tanzu Mission Control Self-Managed.

To log in to the Tanzu Mission Control console in a self-managed deployment, you must be a user enrolled in the IDP associated to Tanzu Mission Control Self-Managed. For more information, see the section on setting up authentication in Preparing your cluster to host Tanzu Mission Control Self-Managed in Installing and Running VMware Tanzu Mission Control Self-Managed.

Procedure

  1. Open a browser and go to your Tanzu Mission Control Self-Managed deployment.
The URL of your deployment is dependent on the DNS zone defined during deployment, and it looks something like this:
    https://tmc.my-dns-zone
For example, if your DNS zone is defined as tanzu.io, then the URL of your deployment is this:
    https://tmc.tanzu.io
The start page of the Tanzu Mission Control console prompts you to sign in.
  2. Click Sign In.
When you click Sign In, you are redirected to your upstream IDP to log in.
  3. Log in with your IDP credentials.
