Tanzu RabbitMQ be used off Kubernetes, without the RabbitMQ operators, as a standalone OCI image. While in many ways this is a less convenient approach, it is nevertheless possible in situations that require it.
Both Warm Standby Replication and Intra-cluster Compression are also available when using Tanzu RabbitMQ as a standalone OCI image, however, the configuration and usage of these features is different. Tasks that are handled by the Tanzu RabbitMQ Kubernetes Operators must be completed manually when using Tanzu RabbitMQ with the OCI image.
