Deploying a Physical Host

The VMware Edge Cloud Orchestrator service enables deployment methods from both USB drives and also out of bands management devices when available.

The VMware Edge Cloud Orchestrator service is designed to work with servers listed on the VMware Compatibility Guide (VCG) and also servers that are not yet supported on the VCG. When you register a VMware Edge Cloud Orchestrator host, a list of supported VCG servers are visible. You can also register servers that are not yet available on the VCG by adding the vendor, model, and serial number of the device.
