You can copy the configuration of a specific Node Pool and use it for deploying a new Node Pool.

This option is helpful when you are deploying multiple node pools with similar configurations.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the VMware Telco Cloud Automation web interface.
  2. Navigate to Infrastructure > Caas Infrastructure and select the Kubernetes cluster.
  3. Click the Kubernetes cluster name that you want to configure.
  4. Select the Node Pools tab, click the Options (⋮) symbol against the Kubernetes cluster that you want to edit.
  5. Click Deploy Similar Node Pool.
  6. In the Configuration tab Node Pools step, there is a new node pool with the -copy suffix. In the last column of this node pool, click Configure.
  7. In the Configuration tab, all inputs default value is same as current node pool, After confirm the node pool configuration, click Apply .
  8. Click Next until to Ready to Deploy, then click Deploy.

Results

VMware Telco Cloud Automation automatically generates a new Node Pool with the configuration of the Node Pool that copied.
