You can create one or more IP Address Management (IPAM) IPv4 address pools to deploy and manage the workload clusters. When creating a workload cluster, you can choose the network name and IP pool defined for the respective management cluster.
Note: The IP pools are applicable for both classy standard and classy single node clusters.
Prerequisites
- IP pool ranges should not overlap with the address pools defined in the DHCP service if the DHCP server exists for the same subnet.
- When two IP pools overlap and you create two workload clusters with the overlapped IP pools, it causes failures.
- The IP family of the gateway and each IP address should be consistent. The IP address that you provide should not belong to a different subnet.
