Create a network slice template.

You can onboard a network slice template. Once you have onboarded a network slice template, you can then instantiate the template and use the network slice function.

Prerequisites

Ensure that the network functions and the network services that you want to add in the network slice template are available.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the VMware Telco Cloud Automation web interface.
  2. Select Catalog > Network Slicing and select the network slicing function.
  3. To onboard a network slice template, click Onboard.

    The Create Network Slice Template page displays.

  4. Enter the required details.

    • Name - Name of the network slice template.

    • Description - Description of the network slice template.

    • Template version - Version number of the network slice template.

  5. To create the template, click Create.
  6. Add the profile details. For more details on the profile parameters, see Edit a Network Slice Template.
  7. Add the topology details. For more details on the topology, see Edit a Network Slice Template.
