VMware Telco Cloud Automation sends out an alert when the licenses threshold crosses 90%. However, user operations on Network Functions and Network Services are not blocked.

CPU license usage is calculated based on the number of managed vCPUs per VIM. The transformation factor used for calculating CPU license usage is 12 vCPUs = 1 CPU Package License.

To view the details about the number of available and used licenses, perform the following steps:

Procedure

  1. Log in to the VMware Telco Cloud Automation web interface.
  2. From the left navigation pane, go to Administration > Licensing.

Results

The Licensing page displays the CPUs available and utilized per VIM.
