When upgrading a Cloud Network Function (CNF), you can either retry or roll back the operation if the upgrade fails.


  1. Log in to the VMware Telco Cloud Automation web interface.
  2. Click the symbol corresponding to the CNF which failed to upgrade and select one of the following:
    1. Retry: ​Select this option to continue the upgrade operation from the failed step. ​
    2. Rollback: Select this option to roll back the CNF to its previous state. All the charts, VDUs, and values of the CNF are restored.
    Note: The Retry and Rollback options are available for selection only when the CNF upgrade fails and the Auto Rollback option is deactivated.
