Deploying Cloud Native VMware Telco Cloud Automation on Bring Your Own Cluster Using AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service

You can deploy a cloud-native Telco Cloud Automation appliance on the Bring Your Own (BYO) cluster using the AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS).

Prerequisites

• BYO clusters on AWS EKS to install VMware Telco Cloud Automation and Telco Cloud Automation Control Plane appliance. System requirements are the same as Telco Cloud Automation and Telco Cloud Automation Control Plane Cloud Native. See System Requirements.
• Enable the Amazon Network ELB to assign elastic IPs to TCA and TCA-CP.
• Connect to vCenter on VMC for CaaS workload clusters.
• Establish network connectivity between EKS and vCenter on VMC using AWS Transit Gateways (TGWs).

After you complete the prerequisites, install the VMware Telco Cloud Automation appliance.
