You can configure networking parameters.

You can configure Service settings on the Global Settings page.

Note: You can override the values for each domain when configuring the domains.

Procedure

  1. Click the Configuration tab under the Infrastructure Automation.
  2. Click Global Settings.
  3. To modify the global parameters, click Edit.
  4. Provide the required details for Service parameters.
    Field Description
    NTP Server Name of the NTP server. For example: time.vmware.com. You can add multiple NTP server address, separated by comma.
    Based on the network type selected during the TCA deployment, you can enter one of the following:
    • IPv4 network type: Enter IPv4 addresses or FQDNs
    • IPv6 network type: Enter only FQDNs
    • Dual Stack network type: Enter IPv4 addresses or FQDNs for IPv4 interfaces and FQDNs only for IPv6 interfaces
  5. Provide the required details for CSI Tagging parameters.
    Field Description

    Enabled

    Whether the CSI tagging is enabled.

    Cluster Zone Tag Naming Scheme

    Tagging scheme for compute cluster or hosts. Default value: zone-{domainName}.
    Host Zone Tag Naming Scheme

    The CSI tag for the hosts. Default value: zone-{hostname}.

    Note:

    Ensure that you use the following naming schemes:

    • For Cluster Zone tag, ensure that the naming scheme contains the {domainName}. For example, <text_identifier>-{domainName}.
    • For Host Zone tag, ensure that the naming scheme contains the {hostname}. For example, <text_identifier>-{hostname}.
  6. Provide the TCA SSO Credentials value.
    Note: The TCA SSO credentials are used by Infrastructure Automation for communicating with the TCA Manager.
