From the VMware Telco Cloud Automation version 3.1 onward, you can monitor the connectivity and certificate statuses for the components to which the TCA-Manager and TCA-CP communicate. You can see the details and the status on Connected Endpoints page of the TCA-Manager Web UI. This page provides a single pane of view and you can take the necessary actions using corresponding KB articles.

Introduction

The Telco Cloud Automation communicates to various TCA sub-components and external components such as vCenter, NSX, CaaS clusters, and so on using the SSL/TLS protocol to ensure data privacy and integrity. Internally, the SSL/TLS protocol initiates a handshake process to authenticate the two components. If the handshake process fails, it impacts the functionality of TCA.

On the Connected Endpoints page, you can monitor all the current connectivity statuses for various components that TCA interacts with so that you or TCA can take preemptive steps.
