Backing up and Restoring in the same Workload Cluster

You can backup and restore specific namespaces in the same workload cluster.

Note:

• Only v2 workload clusters are supported.

• Only persistent volumes created through vSphere CSI can be backed up.

• Does not support backup and restore namespaces list in TCA_VELERO_EXCLUDE_NAMESPACES（velero,tkg-system,tca-system,tanzu-system,kube-system,tanzu-system-monitoring,tanzu-system-logging,cert-manager,avi-system)

• Some Kubernetes resources in the cluster won't be backed up. If an attempt is made to backup or restore these Restricted Resources, the backup or restore will be marked as "Partially Failed".
