Procedure

  1. Log in to the VMware Telco Cloud Automation web interface.
  2. Navigate to Infrastructure > CaaS Infrastructure > Cluster Instances.
  3. To monitor the progress of the current cluster lifecycle operation, click on the specific workload cluster and view details.
  4. To view all the general information about the workload cluster, check the displayed Overview tab.
  5. Navigate to the Configuration and Control Plane tab of the workload cluster to check the status of the workload cluster control plane nodes.
    1. Processing indicates that the cluster control plane is in creation or edit.
    2. Upgrading indicates that the cluster control plane is being upgraded.
    3. Deleting indicates that the cluster is being deleted.
    4. Moving indicates that the cluster is being moved from source management cluster to target management cluster.
    5. Provisioned indicates that the cluster is ready to use.

    The Conditions column displays subphases of the operation and provide the Reason in case of any error. The Show More link provides more details about the workload cluster K8s resources.

  6. The Node Pools tab displays status of the workload cluster node pools and provides node pool lifecycle operation. Click the Options () symbol against the node pool that you want to operate and navigate further.
    1. Processing indicates that the node pools are in operation.
    2. Provisioned indicates that the node pools are ready to use.
  7. The Add-Ons tab displays the status of the workload cluster add-ons.
    1. Processing indicates that the add-ons are in operation.
    2. Provisioned indicates that the add-ons are installed.
  8. The Events tab displays the events about the workload cluster.
  9. The Diagnosis tab diagnose TKG cluster lifecycle and 5G CNF customization. It can also diagnose the problems in management cluster, workload cluster, the pods, nodes, and its associated hosts.
