Prerequisites

You require a role with Infrastructure Lifecycle Management privileges.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the VMware Telco Cloud Automation web interface.
  2. Go to Infrastructure > CaaS Infrastructure > Cluster Instances.
  3. Select a cluster that you want to cancel the creation.
  4. Click the Options () symbol corresponding to the management cluster you want to cancel and click Cancel.
    Note: The Cancel option is only available for the cluster that is in creation or if the cancellation has failed.

    The pop up window indicates that the corresponding cluster creation will stop and the cluster will be deleted in the underlying cloud.

  5. Click Confirm.
  6. Click the Options (>) symbol to expand the cluster, monitor the Latest Task table to view the deploy task progress.

Results

  1. The k8s cluster has been deleted in the underlying cloud.
  2. The management cluster can be displayed in the Infrastructure > CaaS Infrastructure > Cluster Instances.
  3. Once clicked corresponding to the management cluster, the options Delete, and Copy Spec and Deploy New are allowed.
