This feature is automatically deployed when TCA-M and TCA-CP are deployed.

Prerequisites

  • TCA-M has to be deployed with the WFH option. WFH is the ONLY way to exercise this feature.

  • For the vSphere cluster(s) to be upgraded, the corresponding VIM has to be registered in TCA-M (at least one tca-cp need to deployed and associated with TCA-M)

  • Infra-lcm workflows should be imported into WFH.

Procedure

  • ♦Import Infra LCM workflows to TCA.

    To use Infra LCM workflows, import the workflows in Workflow Hub. Follow the below steps to download the workflows (default_workflows.tar file):

    • Browse to support.broadcom.com.

    • Login using your Broadcom credentials.

    • Ensure that you select the Software Defined Edge group from the drop-down menu on the top right.

    • Browse to My Downloads > VMware Telco Cloud Automation.

    • Expand the VMware Telco Cloud Automation row by clicking on it.

    • Select the appropriate release number.

    • Read through and agree to the Broadcom Terms and Conditions.

    • Find the default_workflows.tar file and click on the download icon.

    • Once downloaded, untar the default_workflows.tar to get infra-lcm.zip.

      Note:

      infra-lcm.zip needs to be imported in Workflow HUB using TCA UI for deploying Infra LCM Workflows.
