This section describes how to upgrade vRealize Log Insight from version 8.1.1 to 8.2.

Procedure

  • ♦Upgrade vRealize Log Insight from version 8.1.1 to 8.2 as follows:
    1. Upgrade vRealize Log Insight.
    2. If the vRealize Log Insight appliance defaults to 8.1.1 instead of 8.2 after the upgrade, follow the instructions in the KB 82540 article.

    You must upgrade agents in the required VMs to capture data appropriately.
