This section describes how to configure vSphere HA for resource and edge clusters.

Procedure

  1. In the TCI_RES_CLUSTER and TCI_EDGE_CLUSTER settings, enable vSphere HA.
  2. Configure vSphere HA:

    Host Monitoring

    Enabled

    Admission Control

    Disabled

    VM Monitoring

    Disabled

    Heartbeat Datastores

    Use datastores from the specified list and complement automatically if needed
  3. Repeat the above steps to configure the vSphere HA for Edge Cluster.
  4. Use the same values to enable and configure vSphere HA on the TCI_EDGE_CLUSTER.
