Install the Management vCenter Server Instance

Install the management vCenter Server instance in the management cluster.

Procedure

• ♦Deploy the vCenter Server appliance on an NFS datastore or the local storage of an ESXi host by using the appliance installer.

  • Name the vCenter Server instance to TCI_MGMT_VC.

  • Use the embedded Platform Service Controller.

  Note:

  The appliance uses the default embedded database. For more information, see Deploy the vCenter Server Appliance with an Embedded Platform Services Controller by Using the GUI.
