VMware vRealize Orchestrator is a development- and process-automation platform that provides a library of extensible workflows. These workflows allow you to create and run automated, configurable processes to manage VMware products and other third-party technologies.

Prerequisites

Your system must meet the following technical requirements for the vRealize Orchestrator to work properly:

  1. To access the vRealize Orchestrator Client and Control Center, you must use one of the supported browsers.

  2. Verify that vCenter Server is installed and running.

  3. Verify that the host on which you deploy the appliance meets the minimum hardware requirements. For more information, see Hardware Requirements for the Orchestrator Appliance.

  1. Deploying and configuring vRealize Orchestrator nodes. See Installing vRealize Orchestrator.
  2. Configure a Standalone vRealize Orchestrator Server.
  3. Manage vRealize Orchestrator Certificates.
  4. Configure the vRealize Orchestrator Plug-Ins.
  5. Configure vRealize Orchestrator High Availability and Scalability.

    To increase the availability of the vRealize Orchestrator services, start multiple vRealize Orchestrator server instances in a cluster with a shared database

  6. Configure vRealize Orchestrator Plugin for vSphere Web Client.
  7. Register a vRealize Orchestrator Instance with VMware Cloud Director.
