  • Take a VM snapshot of the Aria Operations nodes. For instructions, see Creating a Snapshot of a VM.

  • Take a VM snapshot of the Aria Automation Orchestrator deployment. For instructions, see Creating a Snapshot of a VM.

    Caution:

Aria Automation Orchestrator 8.x does not support memory snapshots. Before taking the snapshot of the Aria Automation Orchestrator deployment, ensure that the Snapshot the virtual machine's memory option is deactivated.

Procedure

    Note:
    • The upgrade sequence must be 8.6.2 > 8.8.2 > 8.10.2 > 8.12. See VMware Product Interoperability Matrixes for the upgrade path.
