The upgrade components have interdependencies. To ensure minimal impact on running workloads and avoid interoperability issues, you must upgrade the components in the sequence specified in this guide.

Note:

This upgrade sequence applies to both 2-Pod and 3-Pod designs.

Caution:

The interoperability between NSX and Aria Operations for Networks breaks after the NSX upgrade. To maintain interoperability, Aria Operations for Networks must be upgraded immediately after the NSX upgrade, preferably within the NSX maintenance period.
