You use roles to manage access control for user accounts in VMware Telco Cloud Operations.
In this procedure, you add a new role and assign administrative permissions to the role.
Procedure
- Navigate to Administration > Access > Profile Management.
- Select Roles.
- Click Create Role.
- Enter the Name of the role.
- Provide description about the role in the Description, and click Next.
- Enter the Name and Description of the ploicy in Create New tab , or select a Policy from the drop-down in Select Existing tab.
Note: To add a VMware Telco Cloud Operations role, the administrator must select a policy
default_wo_filter. This policy is predefined with an empty filter.
- Click Next.
- In Permission Assignment, select Dashboard & Reporting.
- Click Next.
- Enter Group name, in the Group Assignment.
Note: Group name must match exactly with LDAP/KeyClock Group. Group names are case-sensitive.
- Click Finish.
