You can configure the VMware VeloCloud SD-WAN Collector to collect the data from the various data sources.

Procedure

  1. Go to http://Telcocloud operation-ui-IP.
    A typical URL for logging in to the user interface from the same system on which VMware Telco Cloud Operations is installed is, http://10.x.x.x.
  2. Enter the user name and password.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Navigate to the Administration > Configuration tab.
  5. Click Data Collector.
  6. Click Collector Store.
    The Data Collector Store page is displayed.
  7. Select the velocloud-sdwan data collector.
    The velocloud-sdwan Configuration page is displayed.

  8. To configure the collector, enter the parameters as listed in the table:

    Maximum heap memory configuration

    The maximum heap memory (in MB) used by collector.

    default value is 2048

    maximum value is 4096

    minimum value is 256

    A timeout value for http requests

    For defining the http timeout for the response in seconds for the VMware VeloCloud collector while fetching Topology using REST API.

    Ensure that the timeout value is between 120 and 600.

    A timeout value to stop long running discovery collector.

    For defining the discovery collector timeout in seconds for a VMware VeloCloud discovery

    Ensure that the timeout value is between 3600 and 36000.

  9. Click Create Collector.
