This Platform Deployment Guide describes the process of deploying VMware Telco Cloud Platform™ – RAN based on the Telco Cloud Reference Architecture 3.0 design. This guide provides only the high-level steps to deploy Telco Cloud Platform RAN. For the detailed steps to deploy and configure each component in the platform, see the VMware product documentation of each component.

Intended Audience

This Platform Deployment Guide is intended for implementation engineers who want to deploy and configure Telco Cloud Platform RAN. Before you deploy the platform, you must be familiar with the following:

  • Telco Cloud Reference Architecture design

  • Installation and configuration of each VMware product in Telco Cloud Platform RAN

  • General navigation and configuration elements of each VMware product in Telco Cloud Platform RAN
