This section describes how to upgrade vCenter Server from 8.0b to 8.0 U1d. If you are already using 8.0 U1d in the Telco Cloud Platform RAN 3.0 environment, vCenter upgrade is not required for Telco Cloud Platform RAN 3.1.
Prerequisites
Log in to vCenter Server Appliance Management Interface (VAMI) and verify the status of all vCenter services are healthy and started.
Follow the prerequisites for upgrading a vCenter Server Appliance.
Procedure
- ♦Upgrade the vCenter Server Appliance. For instructions, see Patching and Updating vCenter Server 8.0 Deployments.
Results
vCenter Server is upgraded successfully and all services are up and running.
