Through Aria Automation Orchestrator, VMware Telco Cloud Platform provides a library of extensible workflows to create and run automated, configurable processes to manage VMware products and third-party technologies. Aria Automation Orchestrator is deployed and integrated into Telco Cloud Platform to trigger and design new custom workflows.

Prerequisites

Your system must meet the following technical requirements for the VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator to work properly:

  1. To access the VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator Client and Control Center, you must use one of the supported browsers.

  2. Verify that vCenter is installed and running.

  3. Verify that the host on which you deploy the appliance meets the minimum hardware requirements. For more information, see Hardware Requirements for the Orchestrator Appliance.

Procedure

  1. Deploying and configuring VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator nodes. See Installing VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator.
  2. Configure a Standalone VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator Server with vSphere Authentication.
  3. Manage VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator Certificates.
  4. Configure the VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator Plug-Ins.
  5. Configure VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator High Availability and Scalability.
    • To increase the availability of the VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator services, start multiple VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator server instances in a cluster with a shared database.

    • Ensure that all the nodes are in a ready state.

  6. Configure VMware Aria Automation Orchestrator Plugin for vSphere Web Client.
