This section describes how to upgrade ESXi from 8.0 Ub or 8.0 U1c to 8.0 U2b.
Follow the appropriate ESXi upgrade procedure based on the ESXi configuration:
Upgrade ESXi That Runs Tanzu Kubernetes Worker Node VMs Configured with SR-IOV.
Upgrade ESXi that runs Tanzu Kubernetes Workload Node VMs configured without SR-IOV.
When you upgrade an ESXi host, vSAN is upgraded automatically. After upgrading all the ESXi hosts, upgrade vSAN cluster objects such as vSAN on-disk format and vSAN HCL DB.
