Upgrading vCenter Server

This section describes how to update vCenter Server from 7.0 U1a to 7.0 U2b.

Prerequisites

Follow the prerequisites for upgrading vCenter Server.

Procedure

1. If vCenter server is configured for High Availability (HA), remove the vCenter HA configuration.
2. Install the vCenter Server patches.
3. If you removed vCenter HA configuration in Step 1, reconfigure vCenter Server High Availability.

Results

vCenter Server is upgraded successfully and all services are up and running.
