Upgrading ESXi

This section describes how to upgrade ESXi to 7.0 U3f.

Before you start upgrading ESXi, go through the following upgrade options and then use the procedure that is applicable for ESXi:

• Upgrade ESXi that runs SR-IOV VNFs.

• Upgrade ESXi that does not run SR-IOV VNFs.

• Upgrade ESXi that runs Tanzu Kubernetes worker node VMs configured with SR-IOV.

• Upgrade ESXi that runs Tanzu Kubernetes Workload Node VMs configured without SRIOV

Note:

ESXi 7.0 U3f supports skip-level upgrade from the following versions:

• ESXi 7.0 U2a/U2d as part of Telco Cloud Platform 5G Edition 2.1

• ESXi 7.0 U3c as part of Telco Cloud Platform 5G Edition 2.2
