Install vRealize Orchestrator

Installation involves deploying a high available cluster with 3 nodes and the cluster is configured with external load balancing.

Prerequisites

1. Download a copy of the vRealize Orchestrator OVA file.

2. Verify that the FQDNs of the primary node and two worker nodes are registered in the DNS server for forward and reverse proxy. Verify that the FQDNs and IP addresses of the primary and worker nodes can be resolved using nslookup.

3. Confirm that the user has permission to deploy an OVF template to the inventory.

4. Verify that the networking requirements are completed.

5. Read Setting Up vRealize Orchestrator Components to make sure that all requirements are met.

Procedure

1. Deploy a vRealize Orchestrator appliance TCP_VRO_PRIMARY into the management cluster TCP_MGMT_CLUSTER in standalone mode as the primary node.
2. Deploy two vRealize orchestrator appliances TCP_VRO_SECONDARY1 and TCP_VRO_SECONDARY2 into the management cluster TCP_MGMT_CLUSTER as the secondary nodes.
3. Connect the three appliances to the Management Network port group.
