Configure Avi Controller

The Avi Controller is the single point of management and control for NSX Advanced Load Balancer and high availability. The NSX Advanced Load Balancer deployment is managed from the Avi Controller, regardless of the number of applications being load balanced or the number of Service Engines required.

Procedure

• ♦Configure Avi Controller as follows:

  • If your Kubernetes cluster network is from vSphere port groups created through vSphere Distributed Switches, configure NSX Avi controller with vSphere cloud. For more information, see Install Avi Vantage for vCenter Server.

  • If your Kubernetes cluster network is from segments created through NSX-T, integrate and configure Avi Controller with NSX-T cloud. For more information, see Avi Integration with NSX-T.
