This section describes how to upgrade ESXi to 8.0b.
Before you start upgrading ESXi, go through the following upgrade options and then follow the procedure that applies to ESXi:
Upgrade ESXi that runs Tanzu Kubernetes worker node VMs configured with SR-IOV.
Upgrade ESXi that runs Tanzu Kubernetes Workload Node VMs configured without SR-IOV.
Note:
ESXi 8.0b supports skip-level upgrades from the following versions:
ESXi 7.0 U3f as part of Telco Cloud Platform 5G Edition 2.5
ESXi 7.0 U3g as part of Telco Cloud Platform 5G Edition 2.7
