Upgrade vRealize Orchestrator

This section describes how to upgrade vRealize Orchestrator from version 8.6.2 or 8.9.1 to 8.11.1.

Prerequisites

1. Take a snapshot of the vRealize Orchestrator nodes.

   Note:

   When you take the snapshot, ensure that the option Snapshot the virtual machine's memory is not enabled.

2. Download and mount the required ISO image from the VMware download site.

Procedure

What to do next

Validate that the vRealize Orchestrator appliance upgrade is successful:

1. Run the vracli version command in the vRealize Orchestrator appliance CLI.

2. Verify that the upgraded version and build number of the appliance appear in the command output.
