Upgrade AKO and NSX ALB for a Non-Airgap Environment

This section describes how to upgrade AKO and NSX ALB in an Internet-accessible environment.

Prerequisites

• Take a snapshot and backup of the AVI controllers.

• Ensure that AKO and NSX ALB versions are compatible. For more information, see the compatibility guide for AKO.

Procedure

1. Upgrade AKO for non-airgap by using the Helm update. For instructions, see the Upgrade AKO section in Install Avi Kubernetes Operator.
2. Upgrade NSX ALB. For instructions, see Upgrading Avi Vantage Software.

Results

AKO and NSX ALB are upgraded successfully, and applications are accessible.
