TM_USEAUTONAME option for automatic name resolution

When NameFormat is set to TM_USEAUTONAME, the Name Resolution probe makes calls to the local name resolution service and runs a script that resolves a name automatically by considering the following naming sources:

• Loopback IP address

• MIB-II sysName

• Public IP address

• Private IP address

• SNMP agent address

  By default, the naming sources are considered in the order shown. You can change this order to create your own prioritized list of naming sources.
