This section provides the information necessary to create and configure a tool script.
Follow these steps to develop and use a tool script:

Determine the action to be performed by the tool and write the script.

Save the script to the proper location.

Test the tool script to ensure that it executes properly.

Assign the proper read and execute permissions to the tool script.

Configure the tool to invoke the script. In addition, client and server tools must be associated with the appropriate user profile. For automated tools, you must create an adapter or escalation policy to invoke the tool.
