This section describes the procedure to configure the VMware Telco Cloud Automation credentials that is used to provision the vRAN and 5G Core infrastructure.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to Administration > Configuration > Integrations.
  2. In the 5G integration section, click Add.
  3. In the Create Integration section, select Orchestrator.
  4. Click Next.
  5. In the description section, enter the name and description.
  6. Click Next.
  7. In the Orchestrator section, click Add.
  8. Click Network Function Virtualization-Serial Over.
    The Add Orchestrator page is displayed.
  9. Enter the parameters as listed in the following table.

    Name of the Orchestrator Provide the NFV-SOL instance name. NA
    Data Center Select the data center from the drop-down menu. Core
    Hostname Provide the NFV-SOL hostname. localhost
    Username Provide the NFV-SOL username.
    Password Provide the NFV-SOL password. NA
    Port Provide the NFV-SOL port number. 443
    Protocol Provide the NFV-SOL protocol. https
    Matching Criteria Provide the Matching Criteria for device access configuration. It is of the form <FieldName>=<Reg ex>.
    DCF Hostname Provide the DCF hostname for the NFV-SOL Orchestrator.
    Broker Host Provide the broker IP for the NFV-SOL Orchestrator.
    Domain Manager Select domain manager from the drop-down menu. NA
    Domain Credential Select domain credential from the drop-down menu. defaultSmartsDomainCredential
    Data Collection Interval Provide the data collection interval value in seconds. 240
    Kafka Hostname Provide the Kafka hostname.
    Kafka Port Provide the Kafka port number. 9092
  10. Click Save.
  11. On the Add Integration page, click Next.
  12. Confirm the Integration Description Details and click Save.
    To Edit or Delete an Orchestrator, click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) icon against the Orchestrator name.
