  • Radio Resource Utilization Metrics
Radio Resource Utilization (RRU) metrics provide Distributed Unit (DU) measurements between gNodeB and the User Equipment (UE). This metric also provides operators the load information of the radio network during the measurement time period.
  • Carrier Metrics
Carrier metrics provide metrics for physical uplink or downlink shared channel radio bearers at Distributed Unit (DU).
  • Paging Metrics
Paging metrics provide measurements at the Central Unit Control Plane (CUCP) and the Distributed Unit (DU). In a mobile network, when a device does not have any ongoing data transmissions, it enters an IDLE state to preserve battery. If new data arrives for the device, the network probes the IDLE device by sending a Paging message and the device correspondingly responds.
  • Mobility Management Metrics
Mobility Management (MM) is one of the most significant feature of the mobile networks, and Handover is one typical action of mobility.
  • Centralized Unit User Plane Metrics
Centralized Unit User Plane (CUUP) provides metrics at the CUUP.
  • Radio Resource Control Metrics
The Radio Resource Control (RRC) provides metrics for Centralized Unit Control Plane (CUCP) and other connection establishment related functionalities such as success attempts, re-establishment, and active number of connections.
  • Quality of Service Metrics
You can calculate Quality of service (QoS) metrics per 5QI, per slice at CUCP and at CUUP.
  • Random Access Channel Metrics
A Random Access Channel (RACH) is a shared channel used by User Equipment (UE) to access the mobile network for call set up and bursty data transmission. Whenever a mobile makes a Mobile Originating (MO) call, it schedules the RACH. RACH is a transport layer channel, and the corresponding physical layer channel is Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH).
  • Automatic Neighbor Relation Metrics
The Automatic Neighbor Relation (ANR) resides in the gNB and manages the Neighbor Relation Table.
  • Domain Radio Bearer Metrics
The Domain Radio Bearer (DRB) metrics measures the number of radio bearer establishment attempts or successes at CUCP.
  • Session Management Metrics
The Session Management (SM) metrics measures the number of CUCP PDU session setups.
  • Transport Blocks Metrics
The Transport Blocks (TB) metrics measures the intial uplink or downlink percentage at DU.
  • Physical Layer Metrics
The Physical (PHY) layer uses the physical uplink shared channel to measure the noise power and the number of allocated PUSCH Radio Bearers (RBs) for a UE in time period T.
  • Medium Access Control Layer Metrics
The Medium Access Control (MAC) layer metrics provides the total number of QAM and QPSK modulation used in DL MAC HARQ.
  • User Equipment
The User Equipment (UE) metrics provides the number of release failures for RLC and other categories.
  • Cell Metrics
The Cell metrics provides measurements for uplink and downlink bandwidth, cell unavailable time, number of dynamically scheduled UEs in uplink and downlink, and cell activation and deactivation based on the number of MAC CEs sent.
